The candidate will be responsible for the costing of bought-out parts (BOP) and consumables within the mechanical domain, including plastic moulding, wiring harness, sheet metal, die casting, fasteners, corrugated boxes, rubber components, and gaskets. The role requires accurate cost estimation of both BOM and non-BOM consumables, along with strong working knowledge of SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint. The candidate should have a mechanical background and relevant experience in the lighting or automotive industry. Coordination with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure cost competitiveness and efficiency will be essential.
